Facing the camera is not a new phenomenon for sportspersons around the world. Be it for their respective field of sports or for commercial purpose, the likes of Sachins and Souravs had once ruled the small screen and now it is the turn for the Virats and Dhonis. But footballer Subhas Bhowmik has been a part of feature films like Striker in the times of actor Samir Bhanja.
Now, he is again relieving the experience.
"It's a documentary so it's easy for me. I have given many interviews to national sports channels during my playing days. Besides, I am not camera shy. I find it easy to stay in my comfort in front of the camera," he said.
The veteran footballer has played at the national level and is proud of his past. "The documentary is a good one that asks me to speak on legends like
Chuni Goswami, PK Banerjee, Krishanu Dey and
Gopal Bose. They have earned many laurels for us and their contribution to their respective games will always be remembered. I have shared special rapport with them during my playing days. During the course of the documentary, I share instances of my experiences and also about the kind of person they were," he shared.
The veteran footballer is happy to have completed the shoot of the documentary and now eagerly awaits its release. He expects people will receive it with the same love with which it is made.
