Kolkata: State govt will support industries and remove all obstacles to investment, said state cabinet minister
Dilip Ghosh at an event. He was speaking at the inauguration of India Global Grand Trade Fair (IGGTF), organised by Bharat Chamber of Commerce, last week.
"Several decisions in favour of businesses and the public have already been taken within weeks of the new govt assuming office. I believe infrastructure development is critical for industrial growth. Industries cannot prosper unless there is proper connectivity between villages and industrial centres. Improvement and repair of rural roads, better connectivity between villages and industries and expansion of transport and logistics networks are essential to ensure the smooth movement of raw materials and finished goods," Ghosh said.
The president of Bharat Chamber, Naresh Pachisia, also spoke at the session.
