Kolkata: Director of health services (DHS) Ajay Chakraborty has been transferred as officer on special duty at the rank of

at Uttarkanya in Siliguri.

, who is now the director (hospital and administration), will be the new DHS.

has been appointed as its chairman. Roy is also the chairman of Rogi Kalyan Samity at RG Kar Hospital. Of the six members of the new WBHRB, only one old member has been retained. The health department got the sanction to engage 11,521-strong workforce under the 15th Finance Commission health grants.
