As part of the promotions, filmmaker, film archivist and restorer Shivendra Singh Dungarpur will soon be flying down to Kolkata to shoot a project with Sourav Ganguly. The project, a short-length video on IPL 2020, will also star Deep Dasgupta. DOP Abhik Mukhopadhyay will be behind the camera.

According to our sources, Shivendra will reach Kolkata on August 25 and the shooting will take place on August 19 at the Eden Gardens. The filmmaker will undergo a Covid-19 year before he starts shooting. Along with his foundation, Shivendra is currently working on the restoration of many films. He has recently worked on Satyajit Ray’s Apu Trilogy. In fact, the filmmaker hosted a restoration masterclass at the Kolkata International Film Festival last year.

Sourav, meanwhile, has wrapped up the shoot of Dadagiri. After the grand finale of the season, Dada took to social media to share a selfie from the sets.
