DC (cyber) Atul V said the arrest of Khan has also revealed that the amount of the siphoned money might be more than the one estimated by sleuths earlier. Sources in the detective department said while Rs 70 lakh fraud had been reported earlier by the hotel administration, another Rs 2 crore had also been removed from another account of the hotel.

Another accused, Hajarey Fakihr Mohammad Rehan, who was also arrested for the fraud earlier, handled the primary account where the siphoned money was parked.
