KOLKATA: A 12-year-old boy from Bihar spent Saturday night weeping on pavement in the city as he was unable to trace his relatives in Kolkata. But by Sunday evening, Kolkata Police sergeant Amalendu Chakraborty had helped him find his relatives. Around 8 am on Sunday, Chakraborty noticed Sanjay crying in front of 121, Hazra Road. The boy told him he had run away from Orissa where his father had sent him to work.
He knew his brother-in-law Naresh Sahani lived in Alipore. But he didn���t know Sahani had shifted base to Burra Bazar.
Chakaborty took the boy to Kalighat police station. Police traced his parents and informed Sahani who picked up the boy in the evening.
