Passenger bus to Kolkata overturns, 35 injured
ASANSOL
: Thirty-five people, including two children, were injured when the bus they were travelling in overturned at Mongalpur bridge in West Burdwan'sRaniganj
around 1pm on Saturday.The bus, carrying 45 passengers, was on its way to Kolkata from Asansol when a bike suddenly came in front of the vehicle, forcing the driver to hit the brake. The bus got out of control, hit the road median and overturned.

Mission Hospital as his condition was critical.The bus driver fled the spot before the police team arrived for rescue work. The vehicle was damaged badly.
The accident disrupted traffic movement for around half-an-hour. Raniganj police station officer-in-charge Subrata Ghosh and Panjabimore police inspector-in-charge Mainul Haque brought the situation on the road under control.
