Party animals rue early deadline
KOLKATA: The decision to enforce a strict curfew on nightclubs has dampened the spirit of diehard party animals and nightclub officials.
Kolkata has so far been he only city where revellers could jive till the early hours. Nightclubs like Tantra and Roxy at the Park and Underground at HHI were the ones that were permitted to remain open beyond 2am by paying Rs 2,000 for every extended hour.
"A curb on the deadline will definitely affect our business.

But we have no option than comply with the norms," said an HHI spokesperson.
"As the Kolkata night hours were more relaxed than other cities, friends from other cities would often come here to party. The development is disappointing," said Craig Johnson, a party hopper.
