New paediatric ward at mission hosp

Kolkata: Rotary Club of Calcutta has facilitated a new paediatric ward with high dependency unit (HDU) at Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Matri Bhavan, a 100-bed hospital run under Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, Dakshineswar.
“There was a dearth of such facilities not only in the hospital but also in the city to address critically ill children who belong to the marginalised segment of society,” said Rotary Club of Calcutta honorary secretary, Sriranjani Joshi.Matri Bhavan has been rendering service for 70 years through its charitable hospital.
