KOLKATA: Statewide post-poll clashes have led the state to take massive precautionary measures. Home secretary Ardhendu Sen on Thursday said that police deployment has been increased in North 24-Parganas, South 24-Parganas, Howrah and Hooghly.
East Midnapore DM and police super are likely to call a peace meeting in Khejuri on Friday. CPM had demanded that five police camps be set up there.

Sen said that two had already been set up and police were preparing to set up three more. He said that the state was still not thinking of deploying Central force in Khejuri.
