TMC MLA Mukul Roy in Delhi, buzz over political future

KOLKATA: Krishnagar (N) MLA Mukul Roy landed up in Delhi on Monday evening, kicking off a wave of speculation over his possible motives.

Speaking to reporters in the capital, he kept his reasons close to his chest: "I have been an MP for several years; what stops me from coming to Delhi?"

But the trip was preceded by high drama, with son Subhrangshu saying his father had "gone missing", and that he had informed the police. According to the cops, Mukul's personal security detail had dropped him off at the airport at his request.tnn
