MIFF selects Sagnik’s Feluda for festival screening

It’s again time for

documentary

maker Sagnik Chatterjee to bask in his creation’s glory. His docu Feluda: 50 Years of Ray’s Detective is yet again selected for a prestigious film festival. After doing the rounds of

Kolkata International Film Festival

and winning the Best Debut Film of a Director in Non-Feature Film category at the National Film Awards last year, his docu will now be shown at the Mumbai International Film Festival for Documentaries, Short Fiction and Animation

films

(MIFF). “This year will mark the celebrations of Satyajit Ray’s birth centenary. So, MIFF has organised a section where all ray documentaries will be shown. My docu will be a part of this selection. They will create a bouquet of films on and by Ray. I am extremely honoured to have received this invitation. It’s like a dream-come-true moment for me. The film festival itself is one of the oldest ones in

South East Asia

. In fact, being able to make this documentary was another dream-come-true event in my life,” Sagnik said.
