kept their perfect run going in the I-League, overcoming early jitters to brush aside Sreenidi Deccan FC 3-1 at the Naihati Stadium on Monday.
Marcus Joseph once again emerged the architect of the victory, scoring a brace in the 40th and 51st minutes and handing Andrey Chernyshov’s team, who fell behind to David Nunoz’s 16th-minute goal, the third win on the trot in the tournament. Andelo Rudovic converted a penalty in the 89th minute to cap Mohammedan Sporting’s comeback. Marcus scored in all three game so far, taking his tally to five goals.
