Tiwary to lead Bengal in first two matches

Kolkata: Veteran Manoj Tiwary was on Friday named captain of Bengal’s Ranji Trophy squad for the first two matches of the forthcoming season. The first round of the Ranji Trophy matches will start on January 5 next year. Bengal will take on Andhra Pradesh in Vishakapatnam. In their next match, Bengal will face Uttar Pradesh in Kanpur. Sudip Gharami had led the the state team in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.The squad: Manoj Tiwary (captain), Anustup Majumdar, Sudip Gharami, Abhishek Porel, Sourav Paul, Shreyansh Ghosh, Ranjot Singh Khaira, Subham Chatterjee, Akash Deep, Ishan Porel, Pradipta Pramanik, Karal Lal, Kaushik Maity, Mohammad Kaif, Ankit Mishra, Prayas Roy Barman, Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal, Suman Das.
