Mamata urges BMW to come to Bengal
KOLKATA: Mamata Banerjee, Bengal chief minister is in Munich to rope in investors for Bengal. She said that she came to Vatican and from there she came to Munich for investments. She requested BMW to come to Bengal, Mamata said. Perhaps Bengal CM wants BMW to set up an auto hub at Bengal. The Supreme Court recently asked the Singur plot to be handed over to the land owners, declaring the land acquisition as illegal.

She said that state government will be providing land from land bank. "In transport sector there is much option," she said. Earlier she had been to UK and Singapore in search of investment in Bengal. She said that there are coal blocks in Bengal. "There are huge pool of engineers in Bengal. Our agriculture sector is also doing well." Bengal has good road and air connection and port link too, Mamata said. She urged the businessmen of Munich to attend Bengal Global Business Summit meet in January 2017.
"We have our industrial policy and P-P-P policy. We have start up policy too. We need industry." She request BMW to come to Bengal, Mamata said. She said that state government will be providing land from land bank. "In transport sector there is much option," she said. Manufacturing and engineering sectors are our need, Mamata said. "I am just like your sister, so accept my request and come to Bengal."
