Lightning kills 3 teens in Garhwa

Garhwa: Three teenagers, including a girl, were killed when lightning struck them in Baghauta village under Garhwa police station area, around six km from district headquarters on Tuesday.
Police said Karan Kumar (12), Akhilesh Bhuiyan (09), Rani Kumari (10) and Seema Kumari (10) took shelter under a tree when it started to rain.
While three were killed in the lightning strike, one person was injured.The injured, Seema Kumari, is undergoing treatment at Garhwa sadar hospital. The bodies have been sent for autopsy, police said.
