Kolkata's cultural life back to normal again
KOLKATA: Amid the pandemic, Calcutta which is known as the cultural capital of the country for its love for culture is gradually
Bengal government has stipulated norms so that the cultural shows can be back again, but the audience needs to maintain distance.
Recently, ICCR had hosted a number of cultural shows at the ICCR auditorium. It hosted a show by Dr Utsab Das, a pathologist, who participated in Pancha Kabir Gaan. Das is a young promising singer and is an AIR artiste and performed well in the show. Similarly, ICCR hosted another show where the dance skills of Arnab Bandyopadhyay and his

Even ICCR hosted a Sitar recital by Sujoy Basu who was accompanied by Amit Chatterjee in Tabla and Debjoy Basu in Tanpura. ICCR also hosted a play – Macbeth Badya directed by Manish Mitra.

who is well known as an Odissi exponent hosted his Odissi show --Hey Mor Devata at Gyan Manch recently based on Tagore's Gitanjali and Vedas. Bhattacharya who is a well-known Guru of Odissi dance form and is a disciple of Guru Kelucharan Mahapatra mesmerized the audience during his show.
