Kolkata Police have implemented prohibitory orders around RG Kar Medical College and Hospital from Sunday until August 24, banning gatherings of more than five people. This action follows the Supreme Court’s suo motu cognizance of the August 9 rape-murder of a doctor at the Kolkata hospital.
