Injured kids: Police start case against domestic help
KOLKATA: Ten students of Salt lake CA school were injured when a maid threw boiling water on them from an adjoining house.
When TOI contacted the family which had employed the maid, no one was willing to talk. "We will not say anything. The police will tell you whatever you want to know," said one of the women. Another woman claimed that the schoolkids had been "creating problems" for quite some time.

"They throw stones at the house and have broken one of our windows. However, I am not aware of what the maidservant did today," she said.
"What the maidservant has done cannot be excused," said school vice-principal Sharmila Das. "A few days ago, a woman from the house had complained to us that the students were playing mischief. We assured her that such incidents will not be repeated. Today, after hot water was thrown on our kids, some of our teachers went to the house to ascertain what exactly happened. A woman came out and misbehaved with us, shouting that the maid had done the right thing," Das said. The school authorities have decided to build a higher wall so that no objects could be thrown from either side.
Police have started a case against Archana. "She has fled, but we will get her," said Bidhannagar North police inspector-in-charge Chandan Niyogi.
