IIT Khargpur launches website to help students

IIT Khargpur became the third in the chain to launch a unique initiative to help candidates who cracked IITJEE on Thursday, grapple with doubts related to admission, campus life etc. It has started a Facebook page to cater to queries live, recognising the impact that the social networking site has on the young population of the country.

The page is being monitored round the clock by present students and faculty members along with the Institutional Development team.Other IITs that are helping new candidates with online updates on admission etc are IITs Kanpur and Roorkie.
Ever since the launch, that happened along with the declaration of results on Thursday, there have been thousands of hits from students across the country.
