KOLKATA: The Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA) - India's apex industry bodyrepresenting the manufacturers of electrical, industrial electronics and allied equipments - will be organizing the Trafotech-2012 workshop on August 6th-7th, 2012 in Delhi.TRAFOTECH 2012 is expected to give a major fillip to the Rs. 12,400 crore Indian transformer industry which is growing at 8 % CAGR for the last 5 years.

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) as the Guest of Honour, to inaugurate this critically important workshop & exhibition.The objective of Trafotech 2012 is to create awareness about the best practices for transport, storage, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance and asset management of largepower transformers.Trafotech-2012 will provide transformer industry-manufacturers, suppliers and users-a common platform to review, share operational experiences and discuss requirements for emerging market scenarios. More than 400 delegates from across the Power transformer industry, both domestic & overseas including generation companies (GENCOS), transmission companies (TRANSCOS), distribution companies (DISCOMS), Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) , National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) , National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC), Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) public & private utilities, service providers like transporters/logistics providers , consultants and blue chip companies etc. will be participating in this two day event covering seven focused sessions of 90 minutes each, presented by global experts.
