Hills shooting: GNLF leader arrested
Police have nabbed GNLF Kurseong president I N Pradhan in connection with firing at Ghayabari that left two Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) activists injured.
DARJEELING: Police finally arrested GNLF Kurseong president I N Pradhan in connection with Monday’s firing at Ghayabari, in which two Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) activists were injured. Pradhan was held from Sukna, about 25 km from Kurseong. Pradhan had been absconding since the incident.
Officers, however, refused to divulge exactly where he was arrested from.
Pradhan was produced in Kurseong court later in the day. The subdivisional judicial magistrate remanded him in custody.
