Govt to evaluate closed units: Panja

Kolkata: The state public enterprise & industrial reconstruction (PE&IR) department is committed to protect the interest of Bengal as well the assets of the government along with evaluation of the closed units, said commerce and industries minister Shashi Panja, who is also in charge of the PE & IR department.
Panja was addressing a workshop on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) organised by the PE&IR department.“The idea was to make government officials aware of IBC,” she added. State finance secretary Manoj Pant, commerce and industries secretary Vandana Yadav and PE&IR secretary Smita Pandey were present at the meet. tnn
