Gokulam Kerala beat Sreenidi 2-1

Kolkata: Gokulam Kerala withstood a late challenge from Sreenidi Deccan to win 2-1 in Kalyani on Tuesday and keep their unbeaten run going in the I-League. Bouba Aminou put the holders up front in the fourth minute and Jourdaine Fletcher extended the lead on the half an hour mark. However, David Castaneda reduced the margin for Sreenidi and Gokulam Kerala survived a few scares before sealing it.
In the day’s other matches, Neroca FC inflicted more misery on bottom-placed Kenkre with a 2-1 win while TRAU beat Aizawl FC 2-1. tnn
