Girl ends life, blames it on geography teacher

KOLKATA: A Class XI student of a south Kolkata school ended her life on the railway tracks on Wednesday, leaving behind a suicide note that put her geography teacher in serious discomfiture.
The note Priyanka Das left behind said her geography teacher at Kamala Girls'' High School was making life difficult for her.
The teacher in question denied all the allegations."The practical classes started only a week back and most of the girls were unable to do an exercise correctly," she said. "I asked them to go on with the particular problem till they rectified the errors."
"But this is unthinkable. How would anyone know it could lead someone to suicide?" she asked.
