KOLKATA: The Alliance Francaise de Calcutta imbroglio may end only if the proposals put forward by Alliance Francaise de Paris in India are implemented.
A letter from the Alliance Francaise de Paris in India deputy cultural counsellor has asked the committee to prove its legitimacy, ratify new membership applications of 160 individuals and adopt new statutes as per the guidelines of Alliance Francaise de Paris.
Director Nicolas Blasquez emphasised that AFC does not intend to sever ties with India''s cultural capital.
