FOB use must at Chingrighata

KOLKATA: The Kolkata Traffic Police are enforcing the ban on crossovers at Chingrighata Crossing to ensure that pedestrians use the foot overbridge.
If anyone violates the ban, the person will be penalised, said an officer from Beliaghata Traffic Guard.
As the schools are set to reopen later this month and the Metro work is going to begin at Chinar Park crossing, the motorists are likely to take the VIP Road-Ultadanga route more than the New Town alignment.
