Fake bank paper racket busted, mastermind held

KOLKATA: A gang that forged bank guarantee papers and amassed lakhs was busted by the anti-bank fraud section, and the mastermind, Indranil Ghosh, was arrested from Bansdroni.

He was sent to police custody till May 22. Ghosh offered guarantees to businessmen by posing as a manager of a private bank. In this case, Ghosh supplied the fake guarantee to ensure a businessman could get a tender worth Rs 3 crore.
