"For me, a true festival is one that is celebrated by being with nature and in the company of loved ones. So, for the last two years, I go to the sea or up the hills with my sons on Diwali. Being with nature offers much more than what one is seeking. My boys are very protective of the environment so there is no question of bursting crackers. A little Diwali ki mithai is, of course, something we indulge in and share them with everyone around us," she said.
The actress, who has been doing interesting and unconventional roles in nationally and internationally-acclaimed films, has quite an offbeat approach towards celebrating any occasion for that matter.
