Dead patient’s kin clash with hospital staff in Kolkata

KOLKATA: The family of a man who died at MR Bangur Hospital clashed with hospital staff, and lodged a negligence complaint against doctors, on Sunday.

Family members of Aman Shaw said he had been electrocuted, and admitted to a Budge Budge hospital, before being shifted to MR Bangur on Tuesday. They said he was getting better, but doctors suddenly declared him dead on Sunday.

However, the doctors said he died of cardiac arrest.
