‘CM upset, promises justice’

Kolkata: The death of JU first year student Swapnadip Kundu has left the chief minister extremely upset and she is personally looking into the matter to ensure he gets justice, Trinamool spokespersons Kunal Ghosh and Shashi Panja said during a media conference on Saturday.
“The CM is extremely upset and angry. Why would such an incident happen and why would a young life be lost? Cops are probing into the matter and we want to say that all persons involved and all those attempting to cover up the matter in some form or other should be brought under the purview of the probe,” said Ghosh.State minister and senior party leader Shashi Panja also wondered why some students had developed such twisted mentality and said counselling sessions should be introduced to prevent the same in future. tnn
