City cafe eyes higher footfall with new spread

Kolkata: Café Mezzuna, one of the leading fine-dining restaurants owned by Speciality Restaurants, is expanding its offering by introducing The Mezze ‘9’ Studio. It is hoping that the new offerings will pave the way for a higher footfall at the restaurant.
“We wanted to bring to the people of Kolkata the tastes of the Middle Eastern Souqs. All the dishes here are healthy and flexible.One can enjoy these with a nice glass of wine,” said Chef Saby, the mind behind the idea of Mezze Studio. He added that he has curated a special platter of nine delicacies that customers can choose from.
“A lot of people visit this outlet as it is surrounded by many colleges and offices. Many ladies also like to hold their kitty parties here. Hence we have decided to open the Mezze studio here before introducing it to our other outlets,” Debashish Ghosh of Speciality Restaurants told TOI.
