KOLKATA: The Council For the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has sent a circular to heads of all affiliated schools, attaching the recent state school education department circular on advancement of summer vacation.
The circular has been signed by chief executive & secretary of CISCE, Gerry Arathoon.
Rammohan Mission School principal Sujoy Biswas said, "We received the circular today. We will take a call on Monday as we know the weightage of the government order." St Augustine's Day School, Shyamnagar, principal Rodney Borneo said, "We will circulate a Google form to parents to get their opinions." St Xavier's Collegiate School has put up a notice on their website that the summer vacation will be from May 15 to June 12 and the last working day will be May 12. Other affiliated schools will discuss it next week.
