KOLKATA: The Times of India's Newspaper in Education (NIE) has a real treat in store for its members this season. The Champ film festival kicks off at Swabhumi on December 29 with Harry Potter II.

KOLKATA: The Times of India''s Newspaper in Education (NIE) has a real treat in store for its members this season. The Champ film festival kicks off at Swabhumi on December 29 with Harry Potter II.
This festival is open to all 20,000 NIE members from 100 city-based schools, according to organisers. School kids are expected to make a beeline for their favourite Hollywood flicks.
"We have made arrangements for at least 10,000 children get to watch these movies," an NIE official said.

Children can choose from p o p u l a r movies like H r i t i k R o s h a n blockbuster Koi Mil Gaya, Home Alone III, Makdee, Dr. Dolittle II, Jingle All the Way and Kangaroo Jack.
The last such festival in May was a real success. This festival also promises to be a hit going by the initial reactions. The event is being organised by The Times of India (NIE), in association with Swabhumi. Club Mahindra and Jalan Distributors are the co-sponsors.
