CBI's Interpol wing to take Kohli custody

KALIMPONG: The Kalimpong sub-divisional court on Saturday directed that Manindarpal Singh
Kohli, accused in Hannah Foster’s rape and murder, be handed over to the CBI''s Interpol
wing.
According to assistant public prosecutor of Kalimpong subdivisional court, Pranay Kurmar Roy, the Punjab police who had filed a petition to take custody failed to produce a pro-duction warrant.Kohli shall remain in judicial custody till a CBI team arrives here.
Meanwhile, Kalimpong is still in a state of shock, with people wondering how a rapist-killer could masquerade as a doctor administering Hepatitis-B vaccines. Those who had taken their children to Kohli fear the worst. And Bharati Das, Kohli’s second wife, has been taken to an undisclosed place by her relatives to keep her out of the media glare.
