CBI team searches WBBSE office

Kolkata: A CBI team on Sunday went to the Salt Lake office of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in connection with the SSC cash-for-jobs investigation.
According to sources, a four-member team reached the board’s office, Nivedita Bhavan, in the afternoon. The team went to the second floor in search of some documents. CBI officials said the board had been informed earlier that the visit would take place.
CBI, which has been investigating allegations regarding posting of group D staff at SSC, had conducted searches at the WBBSE office earlier as well.
