Kolkata: The
CBI, which has secured custody of mobile phones belonging to deceased
Congress councillor Tapan Kandu and his relative Mithun Kandu from SIT, questioned Jhalda SDPO Subrata Deb and five ‘closed’ cops on Saturday in connection with the murder case, reports Rohit Khanna.
Besides the SDPO and the five cops, CBI investigators also plan to question Jhalda IC Sanjib Ghosh, the first person named as accused by the councillor’s widow, Purnima Kandu, in her complaint.
