Calcutta University bans TMCP leader for 2 years for assaulting professor

leader who had assaulted chemical engineering professor Bhaskar Chandra Das in February, has been barred by the

Calcutta University

from attending classes for two years.

The

CU

syndicate took the decision on Monday. Mustafi will not be able to continue his one-year certificate course and can only join after two years. VC

Sonali Chakravarti Banerjee

said no student doing any such thing will be spared by the varsity.
