Box stuck in child's mouth

KOLKATA: A nine-month old child was rushed to SSKM Hospital after a kaajal box got stuck in his mouth.
Partha and Krishna Chatterjee's only son Ayush had turned blue and could barely breathe. The kaajal box that he had put in his mouth while his mother was putting away his things after the morning bath had stuck inside his mouth.
The parents rushed Ayush to SSKM hospital from their Mandirtala, Howrah home around 12 noon.ENT specialist Sudip Das realised the box had got stuck above the larynx. An X-ray confirmed his doubts. Das then removed the box using a forcep. The child can breathe and eat properly now.
