NEW DELHI: A police guard was found dead with a bullet injury to his forehead inside the City Civil Court premises in Dalhousie area on Wednesday morning, police said.
The body was discovered around 7 am on a chair near the ground floor staircase. Authorities believe it could be a case of suicide, as the guard’s 9mm service pistol was found beside him.
The police officer handling the case stated, "It is likely that he may have shot himself, but a thorough investigation is underway."
