Kalyani (Nadia): Stepping up the ante against the Centre, chief minister Mamata Banerjee said that the Modi government was making political discrimination and stopping all the development projects. After the administrative meeting at Kalyani, Banerjee said that the presence of the central government can only be found in the advertisements and not in any work. "We have handed over the land to the Centre for AIIMS, but apart from the boundary wall nothing has been done so far. The National Highway is in a very bad shape and for the last four years. Now PWD will have to complete it," Banerjee said."The farmers are not getting any loan against the much-hyped Kishan credit card. The central ministers are only seen in advertisements. There is no contribution of the Centre in the developmental work and we are only working on the state's share," she said. She also told the police officers to speak with the BSF because there was allegation that the paramilitary forces were misbehaving with the police.
