Bag lost and found in train

Ayan Das an engineering student of JU while coming to the city from his Berhampore home had lost his trolley bag in Lalgola passenger on Sunday evening at Barrackpore station, but he was lucky enough to get it back at Kolkata station on Sunday night at the initiative of railway officials.

Ayan had forgotten to take down his trolley bag while changing train at Barrackpore station.

Ayan, who stays at Salt Lake wanted to reach Bidhannagar station which is closer to his home. So he wanted to change train, as the Lalgola Passenger would go to Kolkata station. While in hurry, he forgot to take down the bag. But soon after getting down at Barrackpore station, when the Lalgola passenger had zoomed out of the station, he realized the loss.
Soon eastern railway's Chief Public Relations Officer, Samir Goswami was contacted, who informed the railway control room about the luggage in the Lalgola passenger sans owner. Ayan was lucky enough that the bag was left untouched when it reached Kolkata station and railway police men promptly located the bag and put it under the custody of the station master. Ayan soon reached Kolkata station and identified the bag. The station master told him that some other passengers had already came to claim the bag, but as they failed to disclose the contents inside, they were not handed over the bag. So, Ayan had the last lough getting the bag back.
