Kadambari Devi

was a huge inspiration for Rabindranath Tagore, which reflected in his creations. Many of Tagore’s poems and songs were inspired by Kadambari Devi, who was the bard’s sister-in-law. Prosad Chatterjee and Chaitali Dasgupta will be present as readers, while five singers, including Bidipta Chakraborty and Durnibar Saha, will render Tagore’s songs.

Sujoy, a popular face in the world of plays, recitations and films, recently worked with Indranil Mullick and Debjani Chatterjee in their latest serial, Trinayani. The soap is about a girl who can see the future, which brings her close to Dripto, whom she saves from an accident. Even though Sujoy is not very frequent on television, he was recently seen in a few.

Talking about the event, Sujoy said that Kadambari Devi has been a muse for Tagore in many ways.
