KOLKATA: To mark three months of the RG Kar rape-murder, junior doctors have planned protests in different forms - from a gallery of artworks to protest marches - on Saturday to demand justice for 'Abhaya.'

The West Bengal Junior Doctors' Front (WBJDF) has called for a citizens' march from College Square to Esplanade around 3 pm on Saturday.

The front will also organise a Gallery of Rebellion (Droher Gallery) on various medical college campuses across the state. Around 4 pm, Abhaya Mancha, a social democratic united platform of common people, will assemble at Rani Rashmoni Avenue to present a "public charge-sheet" on the incident.

Meanwhile, members of the West Bengal Junior Doctors' Association (WBJDA) have called a mass convention at Star Theatre around 3 pm on Saturday.

For both JDF’s & newly formed JDA’s whatever concern might have, but nothing to do with RG Kar Hospitals Rape victim or sympathy to any rape victim. Problem is West Bengal’s age old problem - attraction to agitation at drop of hats and get free dole , collection, adda and free food. It all started after Independence. Left leaning Bengali intelectuals thrived in destruction of sustems. Systemetically mindless and directionless comunist leaneing left agitation made West Bengal a pauper state from once richest state of country. Then creep in no work culture. Once most industriaous and intelectual people of India turned to agitation, unionism and free adda and food culture. 34 years of CPIM rule ( Left Front) was just in name, hammered final nail on State’s GDP. JDF is definitly a front of left intelectuals and JDA backed by TMC for sure, is also full with left leaning intelectuals only. Talents are running away and suceeding and Bengal is crying and will continue to cru till public realises that these so called intelectuals are actually shedding crocodile tears and are crocodiles only
