Kolkata: 14-year-old hangs self, no suicide note found

KOLKATA: A 14-year-old boy allegedly hanged himself at an address on

on Wednesday evening. No note was found and the reason for his decision is yet to be ascertained.


“We received a call around 6.50pm that the Class IX student of an English-medium school was found hanging from the ceiling fan at his house. He was declared dead at

. He lived with his mother and grandmother. His parents are divorced,” said DC (

The incident came to light when the boy failed to open his door when his grandmother called him to eat.
