Modi ensured 80cr people got rationed food: Maurya
Kolhapur: Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Monday said that 80 crore people got supply of rationed food due to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Addressing a press conference in Sangli on Monday, Maurya said India’s inflation rate is lesser as compared with other developing and developed nations. “I do not deny that there is inflation but our prime minister has tackled it by providing rationed food to around 80 crore citizens. Also, Modi has launched many schemes for the benefit of poor people,” he added. The UP deputy CM said that the Karnataka assembly election results were connected to the rise in gas cylinder prices. “In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, we won most seats in Karnataka even when we had lost the assembly election in 2018. This time too this will repeat and we will win all 28 seats in Karnataka,” he said. Taking a dig at leaders of regional parties trying to unite against the BJP for the 2024 elections, Maurya said that these leaders are focussing on Modi when they have even failed to govern their states properly. The “The Maha Vikas Aghadi is doing the same in Maharashtra but our government here will investigate who is behind it and why they are doing it," said Maurya.
