KOLHAPUR: The Special Investigation Team will be applying to a Bangalore court to seek custody of Amol Kale to interrogate him in connection with murder of rationalist Govind Pansare.
Kale was arrested in June this year for his role in the murder of activist-journalist
Gauri Lankesh. Later, the CBI took custody of Kale in connection with the murder of Pune-based rationalist Narendra Dabholkar murder.
"Kale has been sent to magisterial custody and will be taken to Bengaluru. We will file an application in a Bengaluru court to get Kale's custody," said a senior police officer.
"We have gathered information about the suspects arrested in connection with murders of Dabholkar, writer M M Kalburgi and Lankesh. We are trying to find if they have links with Kolhapur and Pansare's murder," he said. tnn
