Kale was arrested in June this year for his role in the murder of activist-journalist
Gauri Lankesh. Later, the CBI took custody of Kale in connection with the murder of Pune-based rationalist
Narendra Dabholkar
murder. "Kale has been sent to magisterial custody and will be taken to Bengaluru. We will file an application in a Bengaluru court to get Kale's custody," said a senior police officer.
"We have gathered information about the suspects arrested in connection with murders of Dabholkar, writer M M Kalburgi and Lankesh. We are trying to find if they have links with Kolhapur and Pansare's murder," he said. tnn
