Film society to hold one-day workshop

Kolhapur: The city-based Kalamaharashi Baburao Painter Film Society will conduct a one-day workshop for the film society volunteers on Saturday at the Bhalji Pendharkar Cultural centre.
A circular by the society states that the workshop will begin at 5 pm, and entry is free. Sudhir Nandgaonkar, who is known for his role in keeping the film society movements alive in the country, will be guiding volunteers.Nandgaonkar has been the general secretary of Federation of Film Societies of India, whose founder president was Satyajit Ray.and he is also the founder-member of Third Eye Asian Film Festival and is an honoured jury in many international film festivals.
