Kolhapur: President-nominated Member of Parliament and descendant of Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj, Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati, has demanded externment of social justice minister

from the state. He was replying on statement made by Badole about
Maratha Kranti Morcha in Aurangabad on Friday.
While delivering a lecture on the dais of International Buddhist Congregation at Aurangabad on Friday, Badole had reportedly said those who have more money, more crowd gathers for their morchas. "If anyone tries to harass the people belonging to Scheduled Caste community over Kopardi issue, I will resign from the post of minister," he had stated. He also stated that anyone comes and demands reservation to their community.
"Shivaji Maharaj brought together all the castes and communities from
Maharashtra under one banner. At present, all the morchas of Maratha community are being organised peacefully and silently. At this juncture, someone speaks against the morcha and is trying to create confusion among the Bahujan Samaj. Such person should be externed not only from Kolhapur but from the state too," Sambahjiraje said, while speaking to the media persons before the start of the morcha in Kolhapur on Saturday.
Speaking at the one-day International Buddhist Festival on Friday, chief minister
Devendra Fadnavis regretted that people were getting agitated over incidents that could be resolved amicably. Fadnavis said the agitations do not go well with the ideology of great leaders of the state like Dr B R Ambedkar,
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Shahu Maharaj.
